Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS)
- Scheme launched in 2021 by Ministry of Power
- With an aim to strengthen and modernise the electricity distribution sector – especially state-run distribution companies (DISCOMs) and power departments.
- Carry out – smart metering, infrastructure upgrades and reforms.
- Target – To bring Aggregate Technical & Commercial (AT&C) losses down to 12–15% pan-India. Ministry of Power
